The Debt People offer help to people trying to deal with unmanageable debt. We have been helping our customers for over 11 years, helping to reduce what needs to be paid back and spread payments over a much more manageable term. Our focus is on IVAs and Debt Management Plans. With IVAs, our experts negotiate with creditors to try to reduce the amount customers need to pay back. The debt is then paid back through one affordable monthly payment, helping customers manage their finances each month while clearing their debt. Debt Management Plans are also available, and are much less formal agreements to repay creditors. It is important for customers to have a full understanding of how IVAs and Debt Management Plans work before committing to them, so The Debt People provides free telephone advice to customers that is free of jargon and easy to understand. In some cases, advice is also given on budgets, and consolidation loans can sometimes be suggested, under the right circumstances.
